πŸ‘‹ BIOGRAPHY / INTRODUCTION

Hello! My name is Dalianys and I am from Honduras. I am a first generation daughter who at the age of 11 came with my family to this country knowing little to no English. My family and I have gone through many hardships. Some which were very unexpected and where we experienced heartache and distress. Furthermore, as the eldest of my siblings I was always expected to set the example for them so I always gave my best at everything I did especially in my studies since sometimes it was all our parents could provide for us. I never expected to be where I am today. I started in ELD classes and having trouble communicating with others to having advanced classes and having committed to UC Berkeley, a university that I would only see in movies. I know that anything is possible and I consider myself to be living proof of that.
