CENTRAL AMERICAN VOICES PODCAST

Central American Voices is a bilingual podcast dedicated to connecting, uniting, and representing the Central American community worldwide. Our mission is to create a safe space for dialogue and to elevate Central American voices that are often overlooked in mainstream media.

Founded on March 1, 2020, by Alejandra Quiroz and Sussan Garcia, the podcast is currently hosted by Alejandra Quiroz, a Honduran immigrant based in Los Angeles, California. In 2024, Brenda Hernández A Honduran - American joined as the podcast's producer, helping to expand the project’s reach and impact.

Today, Central American Voices is in an exciting transition—moving toward live episodes, in-person recordings, and community-centered events. These new chapters aim to further deepen our connection with the community and amplify the stories that matter.

Our work is rooted in love for our people—especially those whose voices are often ignored or erased. Central America has a rich history, vibrant cultures, and deep-rooted traditions. The beauty of our community lives alongside its struggles, and as we grow together, we remain committed to uplifting one another and fostering an inclusive and united future.
