CENTRAL AMERICA HURRICANE RELIEF FUNDS

On November 3rd, Hurricane Eta a category 4 Hurricane, enter Nicaraguan territory. Within days the entire region of Central America became an under water region with many landslides that took communities and families from our people. 2 weeks later Hurricane Iota entered through the same path as Hurricane Eta making it the stronger hurricane to ever hit Nicaragua.

GUATEMALA

Description: Tropical Storm Eta is currently causing devastation in Guatemala. The communities of Cotzal are in current need of funds to deal with the aftermath of this storm, as it is causing damages to houses, crops, and health.

On November 4th, 2020, the president of Honduras declared a state of emergency and established a code red alert for the entire country. The Honduran population has been greatly affected by the devastating effects of Hurricane Eta, and will continue to see its repercussions. Hurricane Eta is the second largest hurricane since Hurricane Mitch in 1998, which had vast effects in the country some of which the country still hasn’t been able to fully recover from.
